✅ Classes:
1. Intermediate* – all contestants with more than 2 years experience and/or contestants that never won a gold medal in “Open” class. The contestant can compete as “Intermediate” in several contests for 12 months even if winner. The second year he/she must enter “Open” class even if not winner. In this category all breeds and techniques are confused
2. Beginner * – not more than 2 years experience. Dog shows also counts as experience*
The contestant can compete as “beginner” in several contests for 12 months even if winner. The second year he/she must enter “Open” class even if not winner. In this category all breeds and techniques are confused
3. Commercial * – Contestants may enter with any FCI recognized breed to be groomed commercially: breeds that usually need stripping can be clipped or scissored; long hair breeds can be clipped or scissored. Poodles are accepted only to be groomed in Asian style or groomed in different breed shape as Bedlington or Kerry blue. Coloring is not allowed . In this category all breeds and techniques are confused.
* These Categories are not eligible for best in show.

In Competitions where “Open” and “Champion” class are scheduled, contestants will enter the one they belong considering their previous results
Per category, the contestant can compete in one of the two following classes:
1. Open – Can be admitted in “Open” class all contestants that never won their categories and will stay 12 months even if they attain a victory. Contestants will enter “Champion” class, where existing, the year after only in the categories they won and only if the victory was attained in a class of, at least, 5 contestants; otherwise another gold medal must be won in a bigger class
2. Champion – Can be admitted in “Champion” class contestants that already won in the same category at a competition.

✅ Useful information
– Contestants must bring their own dogs in natural hair colour and own grooming tools.
– The organization will provide the tables.
– Before entering the ring, all contestants must go the photo studio with the competition dog to have their before-photo taken.
– The contestants need to be in the ring 30 minutes before the start of the competition for the prejudging.
– The contestant must go to the photo studio after the competition to have their after-photo taken.
– In each class and category, there will be 3 contestants placed per class.
– Before each competition, the contestant may ask a judge or all judges if they wish to give commentary after the competition ends. This comment will be given after each class on a dedicated place.
– The Best In Show will be chosen from the 8 first placed class winners from the official 4 categories.
– The Best All Round Groomer is the individual competitor who by winning in the 4 official categories gains the most points. In the event of a tie: The winner will be the contestant who has the highest placings in the individual official classes. If both contestants are still placed equally the Kitty’s will decide the winner.

10 minutes comfort beak must be given 1 hour after the start competition

✅ Grooming regulations
The dogs will need to be washed (except for the handstrip dogs)
The ears and nails need to be groomed and the dog’s underbelly, genitals and hind quarters may be previously groomed for reasons of hygiene, according to the breed standard.
Any evident line or pattern should not be visible. Dog’s coat must be long enough to allow the groomer to make a difference in its appearance.
Contestants competing with dogs showing evident line and/or with coat not long enough to allow to make a difference in its appearance should be aware that will not have any chance to compete for victory.
All grooming techniques are allowed, as long as the chosen technique suites the type of the dog’s coat.
If there is any problem during the competition raise your hand and the president of the jury will come and help you.
👉 Category Handstripping / Spaniels & Setters
Stripping knives are allowed
Dog needs to be groomed according to the breed standard
(Colored ) Chalk powder/block/spray and cream is allowed.
It is not allowed to use clippers except:
Scottish Terrier – chest, head and ears.
West Highland Terrier – chest and ears.
Cockers and Setters – chest and ears.
Schnauzer – chest, head, inside of back legs and ears
👉 Category Poodles / Pure Breeds
The dog needs to be washed and fluff dried.
Clipper guide combs are not allowed.
Poodle muzzle and feet should be shaven prior to the start of the competition.
Poodles must be groomed in a style recognized in the breed standard.
Poodles with top knots may ask for help from an outsider to hold the dog.
Coloring is not allowed
👉 Category Asian Style
Judging based on:
◦ Asian grooming aesthetics.
◦ Creative expression.
◦ Technical execution (scissoring techniques, balance, and finishing).
• Accessories such as bows, ribbons, decorative collars, and clothing are encouraged.
However:
◦ Accessories must be applied during the competition time.
◦ Grooming work must remain visible at all times.
• All breeds and sizes can enter, but dogs must be styled into a typical Asian grooming
look (round faces, conical legs, short-bodied proportions).
👉 Category Team Challenge
Two groomers work on the same dog at the same time.
• Judging is based on:
◦ Coordination and teamwork.

◦ Technical execution (scissoring techniques and balance).
• Matching outfits and accessories are encouraged but not required.
• The winners receive the Best Grooming Couple Trophy.

👉 Contestants
On the entry form contestants must add the breed of the dog to be groomed and, for Poodle class, also what cut will be done. Signature in acceptance of all rules is required.
Contestants must be in the ring 30 minutes prior the start of the competition with their own dog and tools.
Contestants are not allowed to talk to other contestants and/or the audience during the contest.
Contestants are not allowed to use mobile phone and/or any electronic device during the competition.
Chalk use is allowed however no trace of it should appear on Judges’ hands after the judgment as a disqualification can occur.
Any indecorous or aggressive language used towards the judges as well as a dog handled in rough or unsafe manner may lead to disqualification.
Possible disqualification will be executed by the President of the Jury
When competition ends, Contestants should remove all hair, equipment and products from the grooming table as well as moving all stuffs on the floor under the table, to allow the judges an easy approach to the tables for the judgment
A comb should be placed on the table for the judge to use during judging.
Contestants may comb their dogs before and after the judging panel has evaluated their dogs.
Contestant should stack his/her dog to present to judge. Dogs not in judgment must not be kept stuck.

👉 Judging
Pictures of the dogs will be taken before and after the competition
The judges will examine each dog during prejudging and final judging and will take in consideration the following issues:
Suitability of chosen style to the dog.
The difficulty degree of the clip.
Ability to camouflage defects and enhance beauty.
Up to date with today’s modern grooming styles.
Respect for todays breed standard. *
The quality of scissoring, shaving and or stripping after passing a comb.
Balance, symmetry, and smoothness.
Presentation of the dog to the judge.
*Allowance to be made for International differences in styling for example USA or Scandinavian styles.
• Poodles
The quality of the clipper work whether the feet, face and tail are clipped with the appropriate blade. All clipper work should be smooth with no tufts of hair around the lips , eyes, pads of the feet.
• Hand Stripping
There should be no visible pink of bald patches. The hair must be removed with the lay of the coat and without causing pain. Removing the undercoat by a carding tool is allowed only after the handstripping has taken place. Rolling coats are acceptable; however the work done in the ring must be sufficient to allow the groomer to make a distinct change in the dog’s appearance.
If clippers are used to trim the soft coat on the head or ears, the front of the neck, or on the insides of the back legs, these areas must be trimmed neatly and smoothly with the appropriate blade. The clipper work should blend smoothly with the furnishing or feathering rather than stick out. Excessive scissors use will be penalized.
• Pure Breeds and Spaniels & Setters
If thinning shears are used: the areas that are thinned should blend smoothly and create a natural appearance.
The judges’ decision will be final and binding.

✅ POINTS
In the four main categories (Handstrip, Spaniels and Setters, Poodles, and Other pure breeds) the judging system is based on points.
Each judge awards 10 points for the first place, 8 points for the second, 6 points for the third in each class.
Each judge will have his/her own place list. Adding up the points of all judges, the President of the Jury will obtain the final place list. Just in case of tie the President of the Jury will discuss with the judges to establish the place list.
Handling
Judges may give a warning to any competitor who is seen handling a dog in a rough or unsafe manner. A second warning will constitute disqualification.
If the competitor makes clipper burns, nicks or cuts he can’t be placed as a winner.
Organizers
Every show organizer must nominate a President of the Jury which can participate in the judging with the assigned judges. The President of the Jury is responsible for the timing and the information to the contestants as well. Under his responsibility he can entrust a speaker.
Contest’s organizers are asked to provide for judges (three per each category) Hotel staying plus meals starting from the night previous the competition till their departure (2 or 3 days/nights); to refund travel expenses and give them a 200 € attendance fee per day. Judges from their part will always look for the cheapest flight rate.
The organization will provide the grooming tables.
Organizers must use EGA judging sheets.
Results of the competitions must be sent to the EGA Secretary
In case contestants entering the competition are less than 40, Organizers can ask to schedule two judges instead of three per class.
Provided dogs for demos and/or seminars must be “correct” dogs allowing judges to show their abilities.
Falling this, judges can refuse to perform.
Organizers are authorized to add further competing classes to their shows, to be handled separately from the ones run with EGA rules. Further classes can be “Commercial”, “Asian Style” ,“Model dog” and can be judged by EGA judges. People not in our judges list can be invited to judge but only if they have won golden medals in those classes.
Declaration
As a competitor, I hereby certify that I have read and understood the competition rules and regulations and agree to abide them. Contestants entering the competition with a dog showing less than 8 weeks of coat growth or visible lines from a previous grooming should be aware that they will be penalized and have little chance of being selected. I hereby acknowledge that the organizer of the competition has the sole right of use of any images, (photos or videos) data (names of the competitors) for the purposes of promoting future events.
Registering
Any registrations not paid by the due date will be cancelled. After this date, prices will increase by 20%, which is the “on the door” price. (In case of cancellation, refund or no-shows a processing fee of € 30,00 will be charged). Registration is binding.
After receipt of your inscription and payment, we will send you an official invoice, which is also valid as entry ticket. Please bring this invoice to the event.

WHEN NOTHING REMAINS

When Nothing Remains is a Swedish Doom/Death Metal band forged from the combined legacy of scene-defining acts such as Nox Aurea, The Cold Existence, Rimfrost, Draconian, and Doom: VS.
Rooted in despair, melody, and emotional weight, the band exists where crushing heaviness meets
fragile beauty.

The vision was born in late 2010, when Peter Laustsen and Jan Sallander set out to create something uncompromisingly dark and deeply emotional. What began as an idea soon evolved into a full entity, and in 2011 the lineup was completed with Jonas Toxen on drums and Johan Ericson (Draconian, Doom: VS, Shadowgarden), who brought his unmistakable voice along with mixing and mastering duties.

Their debut album, “As All Torn Asunder”, was released in 2012 through Russian label Solitude
Productions, establishing When Nothing Remains as a force within the doom/death underground.
This was followed by “Thy Dark Serenity” in 2013 and “In Memoriam” in 2016, each release further
refining their signature sound of sorrow-laden riffs, mournful melodies, and raw emotional intensity.

In 2024, the band signed with The Circle Music for the release of their fourth full-length album,
“Echoes of Eternal Night ” in October 21.

Despite its title, the album dives even deeper into darkness, presenting a heavier and more somber
approach while remaining unmistakably true to the essence of When Nothing Remains.
Melancholy is not an aesthetic here. It is the foundation.

The female-fronted band Evolucija brings symphonic heavy metal to the forefront with their album “The World is Full of Wrath“, released in April 2024.The album was expertly mixed and mastered at the renowned Fascination Street Studios in Sweden by Linus Corneliusson and Jens Bogren,With successful tours in Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and the Balkans, Evolucija shared the stage with heavy me,tal giants like Paradise Lost, Doro Pesch, Children of Bodom, Tyr, and Pestilence.The band played at many festivals and motorcycle festivals.

Katharein (heavy metal, RO)

KATHAREIN is a hard rock / heavy metal band with arena rock influences, formed in Cluj, Transylvania. The band blends elements of thrash, punk and NWOBHM into a modern, riff-driven heavy sound.
Their debut album, Lucky Shots, was released at the end of 2024. It was followed by three additional standalone songs, all available online, along with two official music videos.
KATHAREIN is scheduled to perform at Celtic Transilvania and Rock Revolution Bobalna, as well as in Bistrița, Sibiu, Bucharest and Petroșani. The band started off with a bang in 2026 and are playing in Bulgaria at 2 motorcycle festivals and a bunch of concerts around Romania.

🔺 Acces si Vârstă
Accesul minorilor cu vârsta cuprinsă între 12 și 18 ani este permis doar în baza unui bilet valabil și dacă sunt însoțiți de un părinte sau tutore legal care deține un bilet valabil de acces. Vă recomandăm insistent utilizarea căștilor de protecție fonică pentru copii.
Nu servim băuturi alcoolice minorilor.
🔺 Servire și Rezervări
Pe durata evenimentelor, servirea se face exclusiv la bar.
Achiziționarea biletului de intrare nu asigură rezervarea unui loc la masă.
Pentru loc la masă, este nevoie de rezervare, iar rezervarea se poate face printr-un mesaj privat pe Facebook sau Instagram.
Este interzisă introducerea în club și consumul băuturilor care nu sunt achiziționate din Machines Venue.
🔺 Comportament și Siguranță
Persoanele care vin în stare avansată de ebrietate nu au acces în club.
Persoanele care au ajuns într-o stare de ebrietate avansată nu vor mai fi servite cu alcool și vor fi escortate să părăsească localul.
Este strict INTERZIS consumul de substanțe ilegale în incinta și pe terasa Machines Venue.
Este interzis accesul în Machines Venue a persoanelor care au asupra lor arme albe sau orice alt obiect care poate fi folosit pentru a răni o persoană.
Persoanele care produc daune spațiului sau obiectelor de inventar deținute de Machines Venue sunt obligate să achite contravaloarea daunelor.
Persoanele care intră în Machines Venue sunt nevoite să accepte regulile localului.
Pentru buna desfășurare a evenimentului, organizatorii își rezervă dreptul de a interzice accesul persoanelor care nu respectă regulile de acces.
🔺 Responsabilitate și Media
Organizatorii nu sunt responsabili pentru bunurile participanților și nici pentru pierderea obiectelor lăsate la dulapurile de la garderobă.
Participarea la acest eveniment reprezintă acordul implicit pentru folosirea materialelor foto/video în care puteți fi surprinși pe platformele de social media proprii sau ale partenerilor noștri.
Programul evenimentelor poate suferi modificări care vor fi anunțate în event-ul creat pe FB și pe paginile de social media ale Machines Venue.
Organizatorii își rezervă dreptul de a modifica regulamentul în conformitate cu prevederile aflate în vigoare.

🔺 Access and Age Restrictions

🔺 Service and Reservations
During the events, service is provided exclusively at the bar.
Purchasing an entrance ticket does not guarantee a reservation for a seat at the table.
Table reservations are required for seating and can be made via a private message on our Facebook or Instagram page.
It is forbidden to bring into the club or consume beverages not purchased from Machines Venue.
🔺 Conduct and Safety
Persons arriving in an advanced state of intoxication will be denied access to the club.
Persons who reach an advanced state of intoxication will no longer be served alcohol and will be escorted to leave the premises.
The consumption of illegal substances within the venue and on the Machines Venue terrace is strictly FORBIDDEN.
Access to Machines Venue is forbidden for persons carrying sharp objects (bladed weapons) or any other item that could be used to injure a person.
Persons who cause damage to the space or inventory objects owned by Machines Venue are obliged to pay for the cost of the damages.
Persons entering Machines Venue are required to accept the venue’s rules.
For the proper running of the event, organizers reserve the right to deny access to persons who do not comply with the access rules.
🔺 Liability and Media
Organizers are not responsible for participants’ belongings or for the loss of items left in the cloakroom lockers.
Participation in this event represents implicit consent for the use of photo/video materials in which you may be featured on our own social media platforms or those of our partners.
The event schedule may be subject to changes, which will be announced in the Facebook event and on Machines Venue’s social media pages.
Organizers reserve the right to modify these regulations in accordance with current legal provisions.
The value of admission tickets is non-refundable.

Castelul Bánffy Bonțida

Electric Castle anunță artiștii ce sunt cap de afiș pentru vara 2026: Twenty One Pilots și The Cure sunt confirmați pentru ediția ce va avea loc între 16 și 19 iulie, la Bonțida.

În istoria muzicii rock, e greu de găsit o trupă care să migreze atât de natural între piese psihedelice precum Caterpillar la hit-uri altrock ca Just Like Heaven, trecând prin piese cu note post-punk precum A Forest sau cu un strop de pop ca Friday I’m in Love. The Cure este, pur și simplu, The Cure: recognoscibili de la primele acorduri de chitară ale fiecărei piese și unici prin cariera lor în care au salutat discret premiile sau succesele din clasamente, fără să le acorde prea multă atenție.

De la înființarea în 1978, The Cure au oscilat între perioade foarte prolifice, până la o pauză de aproape 16 ani între albume. În prezent, discografia lor include 14 albume, cel mai recent dintre ele, Songs Of A Lost World , fiind pe lista tuturor criticilor la capitolul superlative din 2024. Într-un moment a consumului rapid și hit-urilor de o vară, The Cure au ales să revină cu piese complexe, lungi, cu versuri aproape de poezie pură. Un material gândit pentru fani a avut un rezultat neașteptat: tocmai noua generație i-a descoperit, mulțumită și unor staruri tinere precum Yungblud, Olivia Rodrigo sau Gracie Abrams ce și-au declarat admirația față de „veteranii” ce sunt, încă din 2019, incluși în Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

„Noi nu suntem trendy. Noi suntem permanenți.” – una dintre cele mai repetate declarații ale lui Robert Smith, liderul The Cure, rezumă, cu umor britanic, statutul unei formații ce va continua să strângă noi fani la fiecare prestație live. Inclusiv în iulie 2026, la Electric Castle.

Despre fanii de la Electric Castle, Twenty One Pilots știu deja totul: fac o super atmosferă, cântă din primul minut și dansează până la ultimul bis. Exact cum s-a întâmplat și în 2022, când trupa a fost pentru prima data la Bonțida, iar ecourile show-ului încă se păstrează puternice. twenty one pilots au evoluat de la un proiect indie la statutul de superstaruri globale, bazându-se pe un stil foarte fluid, ce combină rock alternativ, hip-hop și pop. Au fost prima trupă din istorie care a avut toate piesele de pe două albume (Blurryface șiVessel) certificate RIAA Gold, un record Gusiness. Premii Grammy, AMA, MTV, 12 piese No 1 în topul Alternative Airplay – biografia trupei e atât de plină încât e ușor să crezi că duo-ul american și-a setat o rețetă pentru succes. Tyler Joseph și Josh Dun continuă, însă, să experimenteze și să-și transforme povestea muzicală. De la concertul lor la Electric Castle, au lansat 2 noi albume, Clancy (2024) și Breach (2025). Dacă muzica sună diferit față de primele materiale din carieră, versurile rămân, însă, la fel de personale, probând că, în 2025, starurile rock pot fi sensibile și vulnerabile, chiar dacă vând 65.000 de bilete la un singur concert. Pentru că, nici nu se putea altfel, twenty one pilots a mai reușit un nou record de pus în CV.

Concertul twenty one pilots de la Bonțida va fi unul dintre ultimele susținute de trupă în Europa, înainte de a-și muta turneul pe alte continente, până în 2029.

Pentru toate cele 4 zile de festival, prețul unui bilet este de 159 Euro + taxe, pentru categoria VIP fiind de 279 Euro + taxe. Tinerii cu vârsta de până la 21 de ani, împliniti, beneficiază de abonamentul Youth Pass 21 la prețul de 139 de Euro + taxe.

Muzică

Electric Castle este un festival de muzică ce inspiră o generație să îmbrățișeze libertatea totală și exprimarea de sine. EC12 va avea loc între 16-19 iulie 2026, la castelul Bánffy, avându-i ca headlineri pe Twenty One Pilots și The Cure, cărora li se vor alătura alte sute de artiști.

Festivalul oferă contextul perfect pentru a descoperi un line-up eclectic de artiști. Înconjurat de natură, într-un univers atent construit, poți îmbrățișa diversitatea și poți deveni parte din fenomenul cultural desemnat Cel mai bun festival de dimensiune medie din Europa.

Castelul Bánffy

Castelul Bánffy, construit în secolul XV, găzduiește Electric Castle din 2013. În fiecare an, o parte din veniturile festivalului sunt direcționate către restaurarea acestuia.

Împreună cu autoritățile locale, investim anual în castel și în infrastructura localității, aducând noi oportunități de muncă și dezvoltare economică pentru comunitatea locală. După restaurarea de succes a acoperișului castelului și înlocuirea ferestrelor, atenția noastră se îndreaptă acum spre consolidarea structurii interioare.

Activități

Entertainment 24 din 24, performance-uri artistice, instalații imersive, stand-up comedy, expoziții fashion, zeci de tipuri de mâncare din toate colțurile lumii și o mulțime de activități pentru timpul zilei.
