𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗦 / 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲 does not present a completed form.
It sustains the trembling state where structure, collapse, and reconfiguration coexist
transforming theatre into an interior space of sensation.

A single body stands still, its multiple axes folded inward. Beneath the surface image of stability, invisible pleats accumulate in layered strata, harboring the torsion of forces held in
suspension. A slight deviation of angle propagates from pelvis to thoracic cage, from shoulders to head, quietly prying open the latent layers within. Breath and gaze no longer coincide;
each descends to a different depth, inverting interior and exterior.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
“AXIS / Resonant Torque” is an attempt to present the body not as form, but as a bundle of sustained forces. In this work, the body exists prior to emerging as image as a field in which
multiple axes already interfere with one another. The concept of the “Multi Layered Body,” proposed by Conan Amok, unfolds here not as theory but as a physical event, articulated directly on stage. Torque, the central principle of the piece, is both the force that generates rotation and the continuous pressure that distorts equilibrium from within. The opening configuration, a single body standing still while folding multiple axes into itself, does not present stability, but a state of compression that already contains collapse. The “static image” perceived by the audience is merely the surface of a mechanical tension that continues to orbit internally without rest.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗸 is a choreographer, artist, and body researcher who proposes “Multi Layered Body,” redefining the body as a field of forces. From 2008, he spent eleven years with
Dairakudakan under Akaji Maro, fully embodying and later deconstructing butoh methodology. Crossing dance, Butoh, and art, he developed an original bodily theory that views the body not as a medium of expression but as a generative structure where gravity, pressure, friction, and torque intersect. He systematized a theory of interacting muscular, neural, mnemonic, and spatial layers that produce intensity. His works reject narrative and expose processes such as compression, threshold, phase transition, collapse, and re-sedimentation. Moving beyond
stylistic codes or exoticism, he pursues a contemporary ontology of the body, designing conditions between stability and collapse through performance and research.

The performance is produced in partnership with Cinema Arta and Planetarium Café.

𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗦 / 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲 nu prezintă o formă definitivă.
Păstrează starea de tremur în care structura, prăbușirea și reconfigurarea coexistă,
transformând teatrul într-un spațiu interior al senzațiilor.

Un singur corp stă nemișcat, cu multiplele sale axe îndoite spre interior. Sub imaginea aparentă a stabilității, pliurile invizibile se acumulează în straturi suprapuse, ascunzând torsiunea forțelor ținute în suspensie. O ușoară deviere a unghiului se propagă – de la bazin la cutia toracică, de la umeri la cap – deschizând în tăcere straturile latente din interior. Respirația și privirea nu mai coincid; fiecare coboară la o adâncime diferită, inversând interiorul și exteriorul.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
„AXIS / Resonant Torque” reprezintă o încercare de a prezenta corpul nu ca formă, ci ca un ansamblu de forțe susținute. În această lucrare, corpul există, înainte de a se manifesta ca imagine, ca un câmp în care mai multe axe interacționează deja între ele. Conceptul de „corp multistratificat”, propus de Conan Amok, se dezvăluie aici nu ca teorie, ci ca eveniment fizic, articulat direct pe scenă. Torque-ul (Torsiunea), principiul central al piesei, este atât forța care generează rotația, cât și presiunea continuă care distorsionează echilibrul din interior. Configurația de deschidere – un singur corp care stă nemișcat, în timp ce își pliază multiple axe în interiorul său – nu prezintă stabilitate, ci o stare de compresie care conține deja prăbușirea. „Imaginea statică” percepută de public este doar suprafața unei tensiuni mecanice care continuă să orbiteze în interior fără încetare.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗸 este coregraf, artist și cercetător al corpului, cunoscut pentru conceptul „Multi Layered Body”, care redefinește corpul ca un câmp de forțe. Începând din 2008, a petrecut unsprezece ani în cadrul companiei Dairakudakan, sub îndrumarea lui Akaji Maro, asumând metodologia butoh înainte de a o deconstrui ulterior. Traversând dansul, butoh-ul și arta contemporană, a dezvoltat o teorie corporală originală care privește corpul nu ca mediu al expresiei, ci ca structură generativă în care gravitația, presiunea, fricțiunea și torsiunea mecanică se intersectează. A sistematizat o teorie a interacțiunii dintre straturile musculare, neuronale, mnemonice și spațiale care produc intensitate. Lucrările sale resping narațiunea și expun procese precum compresia, pragul, tranziția de fază, colapsul și resedimentarea. Dincolo de codurile stilistice sau exotism, el urmărește o ontologie contemporană a corpului, construind condiții aflate între stabilitate și colaps.

Az 𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗦 / 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲 nem kíván határokat szabni a formának.
Az előadás azt az állapotot vizsgálja, amelyben a struktúra, az összeomlás és az újrarendezés egyaránt jelen van. A koreográfia eszköztárának segítségével a mű a színpadot az észlelés belső terévé alakítja át, ahol a test finom átalakulásokon megy keresztül.

A mozdulatlan test önmagába hajlik. A stabilitás látszata mögött láthatatlan rétegek torlódnak egymásra, amelyek elfojtott erők feszültségét hordozzák. A testrészek saját tengelyük körüli, alig észrevehető forgása végigfut a medencétől a mellkason át a vállakig, majd a fejig, feltárva a testben lappangó síkokat. A lélegzet és a tekintet elválik egymástól, a belső és külső között felszámolódik a különbség.

𝗡𝘆𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗼𝘇𝗮𝘁:
Az „AXIS / Resonant Torque” arra törekszik, hogy a testet ne formaként, hanem erő-hálózatként mutassa be. A performansz során a test már a képként való megjelenése előtt olyan mértani térként van jelen, amelyben több tengely és sík lép egymással kölcsönhatásba. A Conan Amok által megfogalmazott „többrétegű test” koncepciója fizikai eseményként bontakozik ki a színpadon. A darab központi gondolata, a torzió (torque), egyrészt a mozgást előidéző erőt, másrészt a belső egyensúlyt felbolygató feszültséget foglalja magában. A mű nyitó kompozíciója, a mozdulatlan test, az egyensúlyi állapot helyett olyan feszültséget jelenít meg, amely magában hordozza a destrukció mozzanatát. A közönség által érzékelt mozdulatlanság nem több egy látszatnál, amely nyugvópontra érkezés nélkül kering tovább.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗸 koreográfus, művész. A test kortárs ontológiáját kutatja előadásokon és performanszokon keresztül. Munkája során kidolgozta a „többrétegű test” koncepcióját, amely a testet egymást átszövő erők hálózataként értelmezi. Japánban, Akaji Maro irányítása alatt a nagy presztízsű Dairakudakan társulatnál tanult, ahol elsajátította és dekonstruálta a butoh módszertanát. Saját megközelítésében meghaladja a tánc és a színpadi reprezentáció hagyományos kereteit, és a testet nem csupán kifejező eszközként, hanem generatív térként értelmezi, amelyen a vonzás, a nyomás, a súrlódás és a torzió erői kölcsönhatásba lépnek. Többéves kutatás és gyakorlat révén egy koherens rendszert hozott létre, amelyben a korpusz izomzati, neurális, emlékezeti és térbeli rétegei egymásra íródnak és új jelentést hoznak létre.

A performansz a Cinema Arta és a Planetárium Café közreműködésével valósul meg.
