Poiana Brașov găzduiește în 2026 una dintre cele mai importante competiții de downhill din Europa de Est, reunind sportivi din România și din străinătate pentru o cursă spectaculoasă pe unul dintre cele mai cunoscute trasee de downhill din țară.
Evenimentul este inclus în calendarul UCI Clasa 1 (C1), reprezintă Campionatul Balcanic de Downhill și etapa a doua din Cupa României de Downhill.
Competiția se desfășoară pe traseul clasic de downhill din Masivul Postăvaru, un traseu tehnic și solicitant, care de-a lungul anilor a găzduit unele dintre cele mai importante competiții de downhill din România.

📍 Poiana Brașov, Romania
Poiana Brașov will host one of Eastern Europe’s most important downhill mountain bike events in 2026, bringing together riders from across Romania and abroad for an exciting race on one of the country’s most iconic downhill tracks.
The event is registered as a UCI Class 1 (C1) race, serves as the Balkan Downhill Championship, and counts as Round #2 of the Romanian Downhill Cup.
The race takes place on the legendary Postăvaru downhill track, a demanding and technical course that has hosted some of Romania’s most prestigious downhill competitions over the years.
