Slosi is a Romanian artist and DJ based in London. She is a Central Saint Martins BA and MA Fine Art alum who became a DJ by mistake — an escape from the pressures of the institution and academia. Because of her quiet disillusionment with institutions, she slipped into sound — not with intention, but out of necessity.
Through years of being part of London’s rave scene — whether as a dancer, DJ, or organiser — she developed an ear obsessed with sound and a body that needs to dance in order to cope, remember, and forget all at once. Rejecting the pursuit of a singular “sound,” she embraces contradiction, flux, and the inevitability of change. Taste mutates, intuition leads. To define is to confine — and for Slosi, music is a space of freedom, not a brand. She’s always searching, never arriving.
