After an incendiary performance at the Mastering the Music Business conference in 2024, GØK2 is returning to Romania on the 29th of April for a show at the Nether Club (Calea Victoriei 48).

GØK2 is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer hailing from Istanbul and based in Tallinn, Estonia. His stage presence has been described as an uncompromising blend of different genres such as alternative, hip hop, post-punk, punk-hop, and world beats.

The opening bands will be 2 of Bucharest’s freshest acts, Brainwasher & Eyesore.

Brainwasher is a dance-punk/ post-hardcore/ “not real punk” band formed in Bucharest in 2024. Their style merges Death From Above-esque bass lines with noise driven geetars and beats that remind as much of bands like Gang of Four as they do of Snooper. With a sound that’s equally suited for moshing and dancing the band promise a short n sweet, pedal to the metal, high octane show.

Eyesore is a “metallic-hardcore” band, originally formed in 2021, but after a name change, two scrapped albums and numerous line-up changes, is just now gearing up to release their debut, genre-hopping album “ANANTA”. Taking inspo from bands all along the spectrum of heavy music, their songs are sure to keep you on your toes for the full duration of their upcoming LP.
