รntre 13 ศi 19 septembrie, Instituศia Performance-ului va veni la Casa Tranzit, รฎn Cluj.
Instituศia speculativฤ a Performance-ului โ aproximatฤ รฎn termeni de tipul auralฤ, acusticฤ, reflexivฤ, auto-generatฤ ศi a cฤrei raศiune este exersarea unui soi de speranศฤ/a unui sentiment de apartenenศฤ la ceva vast, รฎn miศcare ศi care ajutฤ la respiraศie โ aceastฤ instituศie poeticฤ are bucuria de a fi gฤzduitฤ de clฤdirea generoasฤ รฎn toate sensurile a fostei sinagogi Poale Tzedek รฎngrijite ศi celebrate, de mai bine de 25 de ani, de centrul independent de artฤ ศi de culturฤ contemporanฤ Casa Tranzit.
Proiectul Instituศia Performance-ului chestioneazฤ lipsa unei astfel de instituศii dedicate ศi pledeazฤ pentru performance-ul รฎnศeles ca un mod de gรขndire ศi acศiune รฎn realitate โ de descifrare ศi regรขndire a propriilor condiศionฤri, mai ales cele de tip precaritate nesfรขrศitฤ (prin asocierea cu ideea de procesualitate, de exemplu), de reimaginare a felului รฎn care ne putem fi resurse reciproce fฤrฤ abuz, de readucere a noศiunilor de prezenศฤ, corp ศi experienศฤ รฎn conversaศia privind relaศia dintre artฤ ศi realitate, sau de reevaluare a dimensiunii politice a artei odatฤ cu necesitatea tot mai urgentฤ de a รฎnvฤศa noi ศi noi moduri de a susศine linia orizontului, pentru ca cerul sฤ nu se prฤbuศeascฤ peste noi.
10 artiศti ศi artiste, din Bucureศti, cu practici situate la marginea sau intersecศia mai multor medii artistice, lanseazฤ o invitaศie scenelor diverse din Cluj โ cea literarฤ, cea de arte vizuale, de dans, de teatru ศi de performance – care ar putea rezona cu unii dintre artiศtii din proiect, sau cu รฎnsฤศi ideea rezonanศฤ ca mod de comunicare รฎntre mai multe practici, procese ศi situฤri artistice ศi potenศialul acestui tip de gรขndire performativฤ de a identifica, reimagina ศi institui relaศii noi รฎntre noi ศi รฎntre peisajele noastre interioare ศi cele exterioare.
Uneori orizontul e multiplu ศi nu se aflฤ รฎntotdeauna รฎn exterior.
Instituศia performance-ului care vine la Cluj este formatฤ din: Eliza Trefaศ, Florin Flueraศ, Andreea David (dans, performance), Cosmina Moroศan, Anticorp Solar, Kira Valentina, Adriana Gheorghe (literaturฤ, performance, sunet/voce), Alina Grau, Alini Medoia (teatru), Giles Eldridge (arte vizuale). Lor li se adaugฤ Mihai Iepure-Gorski (artist vizual din Cluj).
Proiectul se รฎntinde pe o duratฤ de 5 luni de zile, presupune 2 festivaluri (Festival de Performance de Camerฤ, รฎn iunie, ศi Repetiศie pentru o instituศie a performance-ului, รฎn octombrie), un call de rezidenศe artistice, un turneu la Cluj, invitaศi internaศionali cu workshop-uri de formare atรขt profesionalฤ, cรขt ศi a unui mod de a fi รฎmpreunฤ cu contururi poroase โ o societate temporarฤ, fฤrฤ a ne defini din exterior ca grup sau colectiv, fฤrฤ consens ศi care รฎncurajeazฤ reformularea ศi diferenศa, urmฤrind o chemare mai mult sau mai puศin interioarฤ.
Instituศia are cรขศiva parametrii de bazฤ, patru teme proiectate ca metode โ Dragostea, Peisajul, Odihna ศi Corul.
Activitฤศile Instituศiei performance-ului sunt gรขndite ca activitฤศi care sunt posibile รฎntr-o camerฤ de 16 mp, spaศiul Teatre de pe Schitu Mฤgureanu 21, โsediulโ instituศiei, studioul artistei Adriana Gheorghe, deschis oricui doreศte sฤ cerceteze performance-ul, ca un gest de generozitate radicalฤ cu scopul de a produce schimbare minimalฤ โ modificรขnd cรขt de puศin condiศiile date.
Lor li se adaugฤ activitฤศi care sub nicio formฤ nu sunt posibile รฎntr-o camerฤ de 16 mp, ci doar รฎn alianศฤ cu instituศii โrealeโ, cum ar fi teatre ศi galerii partenere, care se lasฤ permeate.

Cum aratฤ dragostea รฎnศeleasฤ ca metodฤ de (auto-)instituire? Dar peisajul? Odihna? Corul?
Cum se poate rezona cu un spaศiu-gazdฤ โgolit care รฎศi doreศte sฤ fie reumplut cu conศinuturi tranzitorii รฎn permanenศฤ, dรขnd ocazia reinterpretฤrilor continue ale modelelor de convieศuire posibileโ.

Invitaศia de a vฤ รฎntรขlni cu noi este implicit o invitaศie de a vฤ รฎntรขlni รฎntre voi. Performance-ul poate fi o gazdฤ bunฤ. Din toate unghiurile, de vฤzut, de รฎncercat, de discutat.
Spaศiul Teatre รฎศi propune sฤ contureze un teren prielnic pentru nevoi ศi preocupฤri acute comune sau divergente, sฤ aducฤ รฎmpreunฤ dimensiunile politicului, filosofiei, biografiei, somaticului ศi, nu รฎn cele din urmฤ, dimensiunea artisticฤ la intersecศia mai multor convenศii ศi scene, fฤrฤ a le reprezenta ศi doar prin experimentarea ศi activarea lor.

Instituศia performance-ului (iunieโoctombrie) este un program curatoriat de artista Adriana Gheorghe, produs de Teatre รฎn colaborare cu PETEC ศi co-finanศat de AFCN. Proiectul nu reprezintฤ รฎn mod necesar poziลฃia Administraศiei Fondului Cultural Naศional. AFCN nu este responsabilฤ de conศinutul proiectului sau de modul รฎn care rezultatele proiectului pot fi folosite. Acestea sunt รฎn รฎntregime responsabilitatea beneficiarului finanศฤrii.

Between September 13 and 19, the Institution of Performance will visit the established institution of Tranzit House in Cluj. This speculative Institution of Performanceโapproximated by terms like aural, acoustic, reflexive, self-generated, and whose purpose is to practice a kind of hope/feeling of belonging to something vast, moving, that eases breathingโthis poetic institution is honored to be hosted by the generous building of the former Poale Tzedek synagogue, which has been cared for and celebrated for more than 25 years by the independent art and contemporary culture center Tranzit House.
The Institution of Performance project interrogates the lack of such a dedicated institution and advocates for performance as a way to think and act in realityโto decipher and rethink one’s own conditioning, especially the ones that have to do with endless precarity (by association with the idea of process, for example), reimagining a way to act as resources for one another without abusing ourselves, bringing the topics of presence, body, and experience back into the conversation about the relationship between art and reality, or the political dimension of art and the ever more urgent necessity to learn new ways of supporting the horizon so that the sky doesn’t fall on top of us.
10 artists from Bucharest with practices situated at the intersection between multiple artistic mediums are issuing an invitation to the diverse scenes in Clujโliterary, visual, dance, theatre, and performanceโthat may resonate with some of the artists involved in the project or with the idea of resonance as a channel of communication between multiple practices, processes, and artistic positions, and with the potential of this kind of performative thinking to identify, reimagine, and institute new relationships between us and between our inner and outer landscapes.
Sometimes the horizon is multiple and it isn’t always exterior.
The Institution of Performance that is traveling to Cluj is formed by: Eliza Trefaศ, Florin Flueraศ, Andreea David (dance, performance), Cosmina Moroศan, Anticorp Solar, Kira Valentina, Adriana Gheorghe (literature, performance, sound/voice), Alina Grau, Alini Medoia (theatre), Giles Eldridge (visual art). Joining them will be Mihai Iepure-Gorski (a visual artist from Cluj).
The project spans 5 months and includes 2 festivals, a call for artist residencies, a tour in Cluj, international guests leading workshops on professional training, as well as a way of being porousโa temporary society that doesn’t define itself from the outside as a group or collective, without consensus, nurturing reformulation and difference, pursuing a more or less inner calling.
As base parameters, the institution has 4 pillars, four themes that double as methodsโLove, Landscape, Rest, and the Choir.
The activity of the Institution of Performance is conceived as a series of possibilities within the bounds of a 16 sqm room, the Teatre/Theatres space on Schitu Mฤgureanu 21, the “base camp” of the institution and the studio of artist Adriana Gheorghe, open to anyone who wishes to explore performance, as a gesture of radical generosity meant to trigger minimal change by modifying the given conditions as little as possible.
It also includes activities that could never take place in a 16 sqm room, but only thanks to alliances with “real” institutions like partnering theatres and galleries which allow themselves to be permeated.

The invitation to meet us is, implicitly, also an invitation to meet each other. Performance can be a good host. From every angle, to see, try, discuss.
The Teatre/Theatres space aims to outline a fertile ground for acute needs and concerns, whether shared or diverging, to bring together the political, philosophical, biographical, and somatic dimensions, and, last but not least, the artistic dimension as it intersects a variety of conventions and scenes without representing them, but only experiencing and activating them.

The Institution of Performance (June-October) is a program curated by artist Adriana Gheorghe, produced by Teatre/Theatres in collaboration with PETEC and co-financed by AFCN.
