🎤 MMB Showcase Festival is the festival associated with the Mastering The Music Business conference (more details here: https://facebook.com/events/s/mmb-conference-2025/711549025003608/).
🗓️ This year it will take place between September 9-11 at Expirat Club and the entrance is free. The schedule will be announced in due time.
🎼 MMB Showcase was founded in 2017 and has so far hosted over 70 artists from Romania and many European countries (UK, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Slovenia, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Greece, Czech Republic, Serbia, Norway etc.).
🥁 The success stories of the MMB Showcase Festival range from collaborations between Romanian and foreign artists, whose foundations were laid during the festival (Dan Byron and the Serbians from Ana and the Changes released a joint single), to international bands booked at festivals in Romania (Theodore from Greece, Ana and the Changes from Serbia, and Piqued Jacks from Italy) and even Romanian artists and bands (such as Mihail, byron, Lucia, Zimbru) invited to festivals in Serbia (Exit), the Netherlands (Eurosonic), Sweden (Live at Heart and Future Echoes), Hungary (BUSH), Slovenia (MENT), or Bulgaria (Spike).
🎸 The richest collection of success stories from past editions of the MMB Showcase Festival include:
– Romanian band Dimitri’s Bats was invited to perform at Sziget Festival 2025.
– GØK2 was invited to play a concert in Bucharest through an underground rock promoter.
– Mihail performed at ESNS and Glastonbury Festival 2024.
– Bulgarian band Woomb was invited to play at Electric Castle 2025.
