Anacalypto, derived from the Greek word for „discover,” embodies the essence of this DJ and devoted record connoisseur. With a relentless passion for unearthing rare musical gems in undiscovered corners of Techno, Trance and Electro, Anacalypto has dedicated a lifetime to the art of digging. His eclectic taste and never-ending curiosity have not only shaped his DJ sets, but have also earned him a reputation as an acclaimed tastemaker. With appearances in renowned clubs, such as Tresor in Berlin, Sunday Sunday in CDMX, and D-Edge in Rio de Janeiro, Anacalypto has built a reputation internationally.

In Berlin, he recently launched his own label Anacalypto Records, whose purpose is to spotlight (Dutch) artists from the 90s who, despite their exceptional talent, went unnoticed at that time. In this way the label aims to resurrect rare and undiscovered music from the past. Its debut compilation “The Hidden Beauty Of Dutch House ‘94-’98” was widely praised and featured in leading platforms such as DJMag and Groove.
